I can't decide between the three cards. I currently have a Gigabyte 970. Which card is the best out of the three? I heard coil whining is present in all three. I want to get the card by performance/sound.

If you're worried about coil whine, I'd consider an Asus brand instead. I have their Strix 1080 and I haven't heard any coil whine at all.

I know MSI is terrible for coil whine on their cards, and in my experience their cards haven't lasted long for me.

If it comes down to the EVGA and Gigabyte, I highly suggest the EVGA, as their cards have proven to be very durable and have great longevity. The FTW edition also has a nice low idle and gaming temp.

asus makes garbage products. I would not choose anything but evga, msi or zotac in that order. Asus has shitty customer support and alot of people have issues with their products. They have more BBB complaint claims open than any other manufacturer in the business and just recently my buddy has been having to deal with their customer service and it wasn't until he complained to the BBB that they actually called him back and actually started trying to replace his motherboard under warranty. Funny thing is the Rampage extreme they sent him as a replacement if bent to hell and is barely even able to mount in his case and it was brand new in the packaging. I would stay away from Asus products except their monitors. If you want to gpu shop buy from EVGA, MSI or ZOTAC. Pny also if you are buying reference or "founders" edition because they have life time warranty.
