Hey ppl!

I have a gigabyte geforce gtx 780TI gpu and a Gigabyte g1 killer z87 motherboard.
Does my card have the display port the monitor need?
Is my setup strong enough to play good looking games on this 27" screen?
maybee i will have to go 1080p becouse of my setup. But how will that look on a 27" monitor?

is there something i have to think about here, or can i use the monitor on my setup without problems?
Im not so smart wit pc stuff, so im asking in here. Thanks!

Solution
Lol that makes a huge difference, yes it has a display port and it's a strong card. you wont get 144hz ultra out of every game
May be at a lower refresh rate in some games or you maybe have to lower resolution or graphics to get the 144hz

Other than that You are good to go!
No, that card has 2 dvi and 1 hdmi, also that card isnt strong enough to support that monitor in games. Your gpu is very weak, you should put your money into new components if you wan a better gaming experience

For the price of that monitor i could build a computer better than your current one. Stick to 1080p until you get a nice rig

Im sorry. My mistake. I dont have 470, that was my old card. I have a gigabyte 780ti. Does this card have the right display port? And is that card strong enough to get everything out of that monitor? :)

Ah, ok. Thanks! I was wondering since the monitor info says DP 1.2, but the info on my GPU says DP 1*. So i wasnt sure if it was the same.

Do you have any experience with this monitor? I've read alot about ppl claiming theres alot of problems with this monitor. Broken and screen crushed when delivered, screen goes green, dead artifacts. Some ppl are claiming they have tryed up to 5 different monitors and still get broken ones... :/

If i dont use the gsync i guess i will be able to run 144hz? :)

Ok.
But on my card on gigabyte.com it says Displayport: 1*
On the nice screens im looking at it says Display port 1.1a or Displayport: 1.2 feks.
what does this mean? That i have the first and outdated displayport, and wont fit with the cable from the monitors, or is it all the same?
Sorry for beeing stupid 😛
