What is the difference between these two cards aside from the second one not being available at a reasonable price (it was at $477, but now sold out at Newegg; $600+ at Amazon)?

GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2070 WINDFORCE 8G Graphics Card, 3 x WINDFORCE Fans, 8GB 256-Bit GDDR6, GV-N2070WF3-8GC Video Card

GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2070 GAMING 8G Graphics Card, 3 x WINDFORCE Fans, 8GB 256-Bit GDDR6, GV-N2070GAMING-8GC Video Card

The difference is the clock speed. The Gaming card is Gigabyte's middle of the road factory overclocked card; the Windforce card is more or less a moniker to make the card sound more special than it is.

Well, the gaming card was $477, but now out of stock, and the windforce is $499, so pricing didn’t really give me any hints as to which was better. Seems like the pricing was opposite of what it should be. I wouldn’t know how to overclock anything.

Ah. Definitely go for the factory overclocked card if the price is maintained when they come back in stock. Also consider Getting it on Amazon. It's only $530 US on Amazon, and there's a 4 dollar coupon.
