gigabyte gtx 1050 Ti 4GB OC fan turns off after few seconds (no output)

Just bought a new motherboard, gpu and cpu. My gpu (1050ti) turns off after ~4 seconds.

All other fans are still on while the gpu fans turn off.

What i tried:

Change ram slots
Use old gtx 550 (fans work, no screen output)
Use different cable

The power supply is 500w, please help!

If this is an Intel build then check to see if the integrated GPU built into the CPU is being used as the primary adapter, you may just need to change the 'gpu to initialize first' setting in the bios to PEG or PCIE.
