Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti and ASRock N68C-S?

Why my new GPU Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti is not running on my ASRock N68C-S? Someone told me the video card is not compatible because i don't have a gaming motherboard... Will this video card be compatible with GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3P if I will buy one?

thing now with that is the motherboards legacy bios ? it may then it may not this was something that came up a lot with the 900 series cards

your boards bios is old and legacy not uefi that maybe required for use of theses newer cards

this is mostly for prebuilts but same issue

this on that hit and miss is if the motherboard did give a uefi bios update and supported windows 8 and above your don't ??

thing is you down to you buy you try and hope it don't make you cry

just if it don't be sure you buy the card from a store that has a generous refund / exchange policy

you would be in far better shape for compatibility with the GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3P ''r2'' with a fresh up to date uefi bios support [any of its bios should be good but you got a later one to help if not ]

I would feel there should be no issue with a 10 series card on the gigabyte
