Hey guys first time posting here as well as bulding a computer.

http://

The first time I tried to boot the system after finishing building it, the monitor wouldn't get signal, but as soon as I removed the gpu everything was fine. After installing windows without the gpu, I tried to place it on the motherboard again, turned the pc on, and my monitor got signal from the gpu.

As you can see in the video the hdmi is hooked to the gpu, but neither the fans or lightning won't turn on. Even my mobo detects the gpu.

I'm thinking the gpu might be faulty, but there might be a solution.

I would really appreciate if you guys could help me out. Thanks in advance.

Specs:
Cpu-I5 4690k
Ram-8gb
Psu-Supernva gs 650w
Hard drive- Seagate 1tb

I didn't think the windforce gtx 1060 had LED's. I thought only the G1 Gaming had that. You didn't even tell us which version of the gigabyte card you have.

The fans not spinning is also normal. Every manufacturer nowadays is making a 0RPM silent mode a standard in their factory fan curves, so until the GPU reaches a certain temperature, the fans won't spin. They should spin once you start putting a load on it.

You could always read the manual.
