Just bought the card today and it makes a weird electrical sounding buzzing noise when I play certain games. And it only happens to a select few games such as GTA V. I have never had a card with a buzzing noise this loud usually it's soft enough to be masked by my case. Could this be really loud coil whine, if so will it ever go away or should I get the card replaced.

Solution
Almost certainly it's either coil whine or one of the fan blades on the cooler is barely nicking the edge of something, if you're certain that it IS coming from the card. If you can verify for certain that the fan blades are clear of any obstructions then I'd contact Gigabyte or the vendor who sold you the card for a replacement. Coil whine is an RMA approved fault and should not have to be tolerated.

What is your PSU model, just out of curiosity?

Very good PSU. Highly unlikely to be contributing to the problem. I'd definitely contact the seller or Gigabyte for an RMA or at least some input on their end. Every one of the Maxwell Nvidia cards, GTX 970/980 that had coil whine issues, was replaced without much ado so far as I can recall, so I don't think this Pascal card would be much different.
