Hey folks,
So today I replaced my MSI GTX 970 with a brand new Gigabyte GTX 1080. I have an ASUS Z170A mobo, i5 6600 3.30 OC @ 3.60-3.70 and 16GB RAM. I deleted old drivers with DDU, reinstalled driver manually AND also tried it again with GeForce Experience. I did notice sometimes my CPU would jump up to 100% usage for a brief second but mainly sticking around 70%-76% for Arma 2. I am getting pretty low FPS on most games on Ultra settings. On WoW I get 40fps-80fps in populated areas depending where I pan the view. In scenic areas it can stay at the lower end even 30s. On Battlefield 1 today fps drops would dip down to 25fps. I looked at the Tom's HARDWARE bottleneck thread, it says my CPU rarely bottlenecks. I'm at a loss.
Here is the sensor info while playing Arma 2 for 15 min. http://imgur.com/a/ouO8k
Here is a benchmark... It just doesn't seem right...: http://imgur.com/a/0tb6J
Thanks!
