Hi all,

i'm buying a new PC that will be used especially for gaming.
the specs are :

Intel I5 9600K
Asus Prime Z390-Plus
Noctua NH-U12S CPU Cooler
Corsair DDR 4 16G(2X8G) 2400 CL14 Vengeance
Antec P8 Tempered Glass
Corsair PSU 650W TX650M 80+ Gold
Samsung SSD 250GB 970 EVO NVme M.2
Seagate HDD 2.0TB 64MB SATA3 Barracuda

Now i'm uncertain about the GPU :
1.Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 G1 Gaming 8GB GDDR5X
2.Gigabyte AORUS GeForce GTX 1080Ti 11GB GDDR5X Xtreme Edition

i'm going to plug my TV - LG 65UJ630Y
the question if my TV will give maximum usage of the 1080TI performance?
if not probably i'll take the G1 8GB because i'm not getting new screen for my PC.

plesae advice.
thanks.

the tv is 4K with max of 60FPS according to this review.
https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/uj6300

after reading this review, i'm confiused because i can't gat over 60FPS on this screed so it will probably won't get me the best performance from the GPU.
regarding the games, i'm talking mainly about Assassins Creed Origins/Odyssy, those kind of games.

For a GTX 1080 Ti, yeah on those demanding titles, you won't get an average of 60fps at 4k on ultra settings. But if you turn off anti alising (you don't need it at 4k as you can't see Anti aliasing at such a high resolution), and drop to high settings. You should be able to hit 60fps.

But if you want ultra, you'll need at least a GTX 2080 Ti or 1080 TI SLI (not recommended).

the question is if the TV can produce max of 60FPS, not matter what setting i'll change, i won't gat over this FPS.
in this scenarion, is this still worth it?
the price diffrence is almost 400$

The TV doesn't produce 60fps. It has a 60Hz Refresh rate however. Your frame rate isn't locked to the displays refresh rate unless you use v sync.

But yes, 60fps is the max you'll see beneficially. However there are advantages to running your frame rate higher than your refresh rate, like reduced input lag, however you will get screen tearing if you do so.

So what do you recommed?
go for the 1080TI and enable V-Sync? with the TV screen i'll probably set it to 2560x1440 and getting 60FPS on this settings is quite great right?
