Gigabyte GTX 670 or 660 TI

Hey Guys 😉

I´m new in the forum and i have a question 😛
I want to buy a new Graphic Card but which one? I want buy the Gigabyte GTX 670 Oc or the Gigabyte GTX 660 Ti oc .Which one is better?I play GTA,Call of Duty,Far Cry,Battefield, just in Full HD(1920x1080)..My CPU: i5 3470

If you have the money to spare, go with the 670. The performance difference isnt huge, but if you have the extra money then why not. But, if you can settle for the 660ti, you can spend that extra $100 on a SSD or something or that aspect. Both cards are very powerful,and would run pretty much any game on high or very high graphics setting at 1080p. Im actually about to pick up a MSI 670 for myself so i can get rid of this 560ti.

The GTX 670 cost 350 Dollar and i have the money 🙂 But which one is better on 1920x1080 and well worth the extra charge?

Well obviously the 670 would be more powerful. But the 660ti will run all the games you want on high or very high. In the long run the 670 would be a better buy, but if you are looking to save money go with the 660ti.

meh, if you overclock your 660TI enough, you can equivalently get the performance of a 670.. Like I've managed to OC my 660TI's to 1250MHz from the base clock of about 900, and I'm ceiling out at like 80C.

And well yes, I'm running SLI But really, both of them OC'd that high is about equivalent to a 670 at base clock.

No my rest System is very good and i wanted if you realize the difference beetween this cards,i would have the card more as 2 Years,so the 670 or the Ti for this resoultion?And i dont want overclock

As nadim615 mentioned you can overclock a 660ti to get the equivalent to a 670. I cant tell you what to buy its your choice. It all depends on how much money your looking to spend/save.

OR... you can invest in the 670 and then overclock it beyond the manufacturer overclock and almost hit 680 specs.

I personally have a PNY GTX 670 2GB and overclocked it to 1035MHz core. Downside to the stock PNY cooler was it was unbearably loud so I also switched the stock blower fan to an Arctic Twin Turbo II cooler and now it's virtually quiet. So I'd probably go for the Gigabyte Non-reference cooler if possible; quieter and more room for overclocking (if that's a plan for the future). Also, if it's part of your plan, you can buy another 670 down the line and SLi when they go cheaper (if you plan on it, and if your case/psu can handle it). Just a thought...

The easier way is to buy their pre-overclocked model like gigabyte's GV-N670OC-2GD.
the layout is based on N680. You can find liquid cooling kit for it..
