I have a GTX 670 Windforce edition, i have a problem with it, recently it has started to turn off when i start games, for example.. Today i started Counter-Strike : Global Offensive and loaded up a game, everything went good untill it was time for the game to render 3D... My computer blackscreens and the only way to restart it is to press the reset button on my case. And the gpu fan goes complete apeshit when this happends..

I have a One week old Corsair CX750M.

Corsair CX series PSUs are problematic. Did you have this problem prior to replacing the PSU? Have you tried removing and reinstalling the GPU drivers?

Reseat the graphics card? Check all the PCIe power connections?

With a card as old as yours potentially could be, it wouldn't be that surprising to have a GPU failing.

I did have this problem before replacing the PSU. I'm not sure how to reinstall every gfx driver without leaving a trace.. Reset the graphics cards? and also all the PCIe Connections are where they should be

Download and run Display driver uninstaller. Choose the Nvidia option. Allow the safe mode reboot when it asks to reboot in safe mode during the process. Afterwards install the most recent drivers for your GPU model and OS version.

I did what you told me to do; there was no difference.

Try running the system with only one of your memory modules installed, in the correct slot for single module operation as indicated by your motherboard manual, to see if the issue still occurs. If it does, try another module. If the problem still occurs with all modules used individually, reinstall them all.

You can also run Seatools for windows on the drives to eliminate them as the source of the problem. Download the free utility, brand does not matter for this testing utility, and run the Short DST and the Long Generic. Any health issues with the drives should show up. Run it on all attached drives.

If none of that is helpful. Get a new card.
