gigabyte gtx 970 g1 gaming,i5 4690k or 8350

i have atm a gtx 970 and i will upgrade cpu cause the current is 8120,I really need help for this one, i have watched tons of videos in last gen games and i see equality in fps,but i wanna know about some bottlenecks and temps,which is better cpu for gaming? i think an i5 is quite better,and also a mobo for i5 has more upgrades than amd,so tell me plz a full opionion(i mean explain me the best u can )

In my opinion I wouldn't upgrade the cpu at all, depending on your cpu cooler you should overclock. The FX chip line up will be great for this, I wouldn't overclock unless you have time and a good cooler on your hands.

the 8120 bulldozer is the worst release from amd,generally the fx 100series are not that good

A i5 4690k will be better as long as you aren't planning to stream or anything like that.

Even when streaming the i5 4690k will absolutely BURST the fx 8350.
