gigabyte gtx titan black vs asus gtx titan black

Solution
I'd consider the R9 295X2, though not in a single GPU'd league, the price is of same comparison. However; The performance is boastful. It's liquid cooled and is quite a performer, ahead of the Titan-Z. What makes this dual-GPU'd monster an advantage over others is the GPU's are barely underclocked. This is because the power supplied is 500W, exactly the same as what the separate GPU's require. The Titan-Z however is noticeably slower as it is two underpowered, underclocked Titan Blacks. This is just a consideration -

Going to be very hard to tell you what one is going to give you 1-2 FPS better. I have only seen a couple tests with different board manufactures and the difference is so negligible no one even worried about it.

I would go with whatever has the best deal between gigabyte vs asus.

The specs appear to be identical and I would expect them to perform the same. Price is likely to be the same as well. It may simply come down to brand preference. I have used both brands and have achieved great with both. If a matter of preference, I tend to lean toward Asus.

I seriously doubt there is any appreciable difference in performance between the 2 GPUs in question.

Yes, an inappropriate post was removed from this thread.

The thing you should be looking for is noise and load and idle temperatures when comparing two cards like that, because that is where the cards really differ. Asus has better overclocking ability in general, but in this case, since the coolers are reference, it won't make absolutely any difference to get any of the two cards.
Also, as in one of your other similar threads, I'd recommend the 980 instead of the Titan Black. It's simply not in value right now.
