GigaByte GTX780 OR GigaByte GTX970?

Hello guys, this is my first thread and I hope not doing anything wrong. My english is terrible, so i'm sorry.

I builded a mini itx computer a few months ago, and I was saving money for the graphics card. Now I have the money but i'm undecided about which graphics card I should buy. I have about US$ 550 for spent in an graphics card, and I am in doubt between GigaByte GTX780 and GigaByte GTX970.

I did a comparison of the specs of the two cards, and noticed one thing, the 780 has 1GB less of vram but the memmory bus are 384bit, the 970 has 1GB more of vram but has a 256bit of memory bus, which one is better?

which one should I buy for gaming?

Mother board: Asus Maximus Vi Impact Mini Itx Intel Z87 1150
Processor: Core I7 4770
PSU: corsair rm 650 modular
Memmory: G.Skill ripjaws x 8gb (2x4gb) ddr3 1600mhz
SSD: 840 evo 250gb
Case: Bitfenix prodigy mini itx
Monitor: LG 25" IPS UltraWide 2560x1080 @60Hz

The GTX 970, without a doubt.
It's newer architecture allows for much better performance and efficiency without the need of a wider bus.
