Yes it is. Are you planing on buying that? You may want to wait for the gtx 1070 it comes out june 10th.

Its a bit more about $370 at launch vs $310 or so for a 970. But there is a decent jump in performance, up to you I think its worth it if its not going to stretch your budget too far.
