GIGABYTE gtx970 OC Not detected by monitor / TV

Hello guys. I just build my pc with this card, everything is brand new. I turned it on and everything is correct. The fans were spinning (in both GPU and CPU) but when i wanted to connect my tv to the HDMI port of the GPU, the tv didn't show a thing. I haven't updated any BIOS but i thought that this will be detected by default.

Also, when I disconnected my gpu and plugged in the vga cable from the Motherboard to a monitor, it showed me the main page of the BIOS.

I don't know what to do. I hope you can help me.

In the BIOS check to see of there is an option to change the main display adapter from the integrated graphics to your dedicated graphics.

Did you power up the PC with the HDMI connected already or did you plug it in after boot?

I ask because if I boot my PC (980 Ti) without the HDMI connected and plug it in after, it won't display anything until Windows loads.
