Question Gigabyte gv-r7750c-2gi fan failed will this be ok

I have a gigabyte gv-r7750c-2gi graphics card and the fan has failed. I have taken the graphics card fan off and put a spare pc fan on it and want to know will this work. The graphics card still works but I have to run the fan constant is that bad having it being constantly cooling. I can't afford to replace with another graphics card as I'm poor as. The fan just stopped and checked it and the bearing in the fan failed any advice would be greatly appreciated
