GIGABYTE H77M-D3H - is it a good motherboard for i7 3770k and playing high end games?

hello, i am wondering whether this motherboard can play high end games and can support heavy gfx. Also is this motherboard good for i7 3770k?

if the above mobo is not good then i will buy a new one, suggest me good mobo for i7 3770k, am thinking of getting ASrock z77 extreme 4/6, Asus p8z77 v/v-pro

PS- this is my first thread in tomshardware, please help me 🙂

Go with a Z77 mobo over H77, since you have unlocked processor, you want a chipset that supports overclocking.

i am surely gonna buy a new mobo, i am stuck with the above mentioned mobos. which one you think i shud go for?
i dont play high end games much but do a video editing with softwares like after fx, ps, vegas, etc.

The mobo won't have much to do with that; you've already got the right processor for that. And any of the four Z77 mobos you listed will do you well.
