do we know who is the manufacturer of the Waterblock ?
it doesn't really like an EK, but it's hard to say.

how is the PCB ? i see 2x8 pins for power supply on the pictures, so i guess the power limit will be around same as the FE ?

@nofanneeded the 'tube block" is called a terminal, for EK WB they are a standard part, and can be changed for the needs of the loop : https://www.ekwb.com/shop/water-blocks/vga-blocks/multiple-block-connectivity/fc-terminals-x

as for adding a terminal on the side of the block, that would be complicated to design an efficient maze in both cases, and we would have to replace one of the terminals with a plate. more gaskets = more risks of a leak.

Cant find the card anywhere or ETA? It's been months since this article was published. Contacted Gigabyte and no way to get in line via vendor shopping, wtf this is 2021...

In the UK it has been listed in a few places but never been in stock https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing-accessories/components-upgrades/graphics-cards/gigabyte-geforce-rtx-3080-10-gb-aorus-xtreme-waterforce-wb-graphics-card-10219298-pdt.html
