Seems like if you don't care about multi-GPU setup you should just go with the micro board. Assuming it's cheaper, that is.

its too bad its not worth upgrading to for those with sandy and ivy bridge cpus. I expected a lot more from Haswell.

i dont see how you could be expecting a massive jump with haswell, right now the industry doesnt need massive jumps in CPU performance, its targeting mobility with tablets first.
