[SOLVED] gigabyte m.2 wifi kit (gc-ci22m_a) please help

Hi i bought gigabyte m.2 wifi kit (gc-ci22m_a) i cant get worked i installed the drivers from the gigabyte website and nothing happen https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GC-CI22M_A-rev-10#kf is it because i dont have gigabyte motherboard



cpu: 3600x
motherboard: x570 pro4 asrock

you need a motherboard with m.2 wifi slot, not ssd m.2 slot
return it and get a wifi card.

When you look at the gc-ci22m_a page it says it was designed for a CNVI compatible motherboard. If you google CNVI you get this page -- https://www.intel.com/content/www/u...6155/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking.html

Which at the bottom of the page says you can put it into a standard M.2 slot but it will only work with a CNVi compatible motherboard. Yours is not.

yes my motherboard has it and i installed it on the motherboard but it dosnt work after installing the drivers

The description of that WIFI kit is for Intel motherboards. You have an AMD motherboard.

i have the the slot for the m.2 WiFi card on my motherboard but i dont know how to buy the exact one for my amd motherboard i already missed up on the gigabyte kit m.2
