Gigabyte mobo problem

Hello guys http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2989#ov So is it possible to install a kingston 2 gb single ram to this mobo, does it work ? Recently tried and it didn't work just wondering what is the problem ram or mobo ?

Maybe the one you tried is wrong spec for the board?
