Gigabyte moherboard not picking up drives.

I'm trying to install windows 10 through a usb on a new build, but my gigabyte Z170-HD3P motherboard won't pick up either my samsung evo 850 ssd or seagate 1tb HDD. It won't show up on either the BIOS or the section on the windows install where you choose where to install the OS. Any help would be much appreciated, cheers!

Make sure your hard drives are inserted properly

I've checked that they're all in properly, have tried switching which SATA ports they're attached to, everything looks fine
