i had to change my cpu and motherboard (ga-z170-hd3 ddr3) of my pc and i was told that i should download the drivers of the new motherboard again.
so i went to http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5488&dl=1&RWD=0#driver
and found out that there is more than one driver. should i download them all?
does the order matter?
Thanks

i have windows 10 64 bit, and windows had to go through the windows auto repair in order to boot later. (because the new hardware)

Download the recent drivers for the motherboard chipset, also download ethernet drivers for the appropriate os you have.
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false&Langid=1&Level=4&PFid=24&PNid=14

Keep in mind, if you do a mobo swap and its different then the one you had before.
Its a good idea you uninstall the old drivers if windows didn't make you reinstall the os over a major hardware upgrade.
If you don't use the intel integrated gpu as your default graphics, don't worry about that.
Download the correct drivers for whatever gpu you have, example : -nvidia GT510 windows 10 64 bit drivers-
Something like this will get you the correct results, upon bing or google searching.

Hi maikutech,
I installed the chipset & ethernet drivers and installed a new driver for my gpu.
after i installed my new cpu and motherboard i noticed that the fan is spinning fast and it's loud, even when the pc is idle.
is there anything i can do about it? maybe installing the BIOS of my new motherboard will solve this?
Thanks again

the cpu fan is spinning at a constant of 1600rpm no matter how i change it in the BIOS settings, i tried to set it to silent and according to the cpu temperature and it stays at 1600 rpm.
I should mention that i have a corsiar hydro h55 quiet cpu cooler which is supposed to be quiet :)

You don't need to install a new bios, it might be the current video card drivers.

Just to be sure, check your gpu with this, open up a game in window mode and then look at monitor app.
What vga card name/model number do you have ?

if by vga card name you mean my gpu then it's nvidia geforce gtx 970

View this also with that tool I provided if your temp is under 95c don't sweat it.
Even though I don't have that model, but I think normally your card should 50c-65c normally.
When you game or you do graphics works it'll push up more and then fall back down once your done.

This a gadget for gpu-z, if you need a quick glance at your temp its easy to do so and toggle off if you don't need it 24/7.

Thanks but the cpu fan is loud even outside of a game, and at that point the gpu's fan is idle
And the cpu's temperature is 36 Celsius and the cpu fan is the loud one

The thing is, my fan was quiet with my old motherboard and cpu.
I will try to search for people with similar situations.
Thanks for all your help
