Question Gigabyte motherboard for Ryzen build?

I'm working on a build with a Ryzen 9 3900X and I'm trying to select a motherboard. Currently I'm planning on the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite, is this a good mobo for this build? Also how is the quality of Gigabyte boards in general? I know that they're generally more expensive than other brands like MSI, but is this an indication of better quality or are they just overcharging?

Aorous Elite is a good choice. You really can’t go wrong with the big 4 motherboard makers. I’ve used motherboards from Asus ASRock MSI and Gigabyte. In similar price ranges you are going to get equal performance usually. It really boils down to looks and what has what you are looking for.

Avoid the MSi X570 boards... They cannot handle the power demands of AMD's 105-watt CPU... They really messed up on their X570 MPG line of boards...

Thanks for the heads up, I've heard this from others too so I'll definitely be avoiding them.
