Gigabyte motherboard MTG31MH

Hi i have a Gigabyte motherboard MTG31MH and i am wondering if it supports up to 8G of ram, i have tryed searching online for this info but with no luck, i read some where that it has something to do with the Proccessor and im not 100% sure my proccessor is intel r core tm 2 quad cpu Q6600
if anyone has any Idea's thanks

That MB appears to support 4GB of ram at most. None of the sites specifically say it, but it only has 2 ddr2 memory slots, and it's old enough that it reasons it only supports up to 2 gb modules.
