I am looking foward to buying this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128056 mobo for a friend in the next couple of days and i am goign to pair it with the 3600+ brisbane chip and i am wondering if I could push it to about 2.7ghz with aftermarket cpu cooler. on the new egg reviews it shows mixed reviews on the motherboard specifically on it's Overclocking options where some people say it has OC options and some say the board does not so.... If anyone knows/have this motherboard please let me know. I need it to fit his micro atx case
thanks for any help !

These guys at [H]ardOCP got a Brisbane up to 2.6 stable with a 400mhz bus. I think thats pretty amazing. Don't forget that with Gigabyte boards you have to hit CTRL+F1 on the main bios screen to get to the good stuff. Its no secret, it should be in the manual.

Aren't those pretty much the same procs?
Not sure about the ram, you'll have to see exactly what model and what chips they carry. If you want to OC that high, go for the CL4 ones, not the CL5.
