I can't decide which one because SAPPHIRE 's Tri-x is better than GIGABYTE's windforce, but the GIGABYTE has 256 more Stream Processors (that's 10% more Stream Processors for the same price and is also the same amount of Stream Processors as the R9 390x which is 100 dollars more) and the GIGABYTE's Core Clock has 40MHz more than the SAPPHIRE NITRO's Core Clock. Should I get a GIGABYTE R9 390 or SAPPHIRE NITRO R9 390. I also do not plan on overclocking my GPU.

Solution

All cards of the same model (i.e. "R9-390") have the same physical GPU. Those specs must be identical. The only difference is then how high the clock speed is as well as parts used for the circuit board, cooler etc.

If it actually had more stream processors then it would be an R9-390X.

The Sapphire one seems to have 3 fans, and their cooling tech in general is usually quite sound. I would go with them unless you want a shorter card with a backplate.

I've been through and tested many manufacturers and for AMD cards, Sapphire is the most reliable, best performing, and has the best customer support. Go with Sapphire.
