Gigabyte P965-S3 **Onboard Sound Problem**

Greetings,

I have a Gigabyte P965-S3 motherboard, and I have been using the onboard sound. This morning I noticed it had decided not to function correctly anymore. It will not play any sound, of any kind, from any program, CD, website, etc.

I updated all the drivers, chipset, all that good stuff. Everything is current.

The only time it plays a sound is when I restarted windows after updating the drivers. Windows played its little tune when you shut down. When it rebooted into Windows, nothing.

None of the jacks work, speakers, sub, headphones, nada.

Any suggestions?

Nevermind, I'm a tool.

Master volume was muted under the Realtek control panel, but was all the way up in the system control panel.

Blegh, thank god it's friday. 😳
