Gigabyte R9 270 Screen Display problem.

Hello,
I've been having problems for a while now with my screen or graphics card. I can't which
Every now and then my screen does this weird thing were if i'm in the middle of playing a game or watching youtube/Web browsing and my screen suddenly display's kind of like crack screen image??? I don't know why this is happening but I don't know if its my graphics card or monitor. As my old monitor did as well. My most current monitor is a ASUS 24" VE248H and my old monitor was a HP 2011x. My Graphics card is a Gigabyte Windforce R9 270.

have you overclocked you GPU? it may be unstable, also can you try running your monitor on integrated graphics or from another computer to test the monitor? is the Crack like thing always in the same place? does it show up in screen shots?
