Gigabyte R9 280X fan noise

So recently picked up a Gigabyte R9 280x, Rev.2, its used. For some reason though, when gaming, the temperature gets pretty hot, and the fans get really loud. For example, I was playing Far Cry 3, just to test it out, and it got up to 72 C at 83% fan speed, which is really loud. Wondering if at all I could fix it somehow.
