Hi, it's the first time I've built a pc by myself and I'm a noob on this.
It's been around 3 months now, and from time to time my screen freezes and the sound that was playing loops for a few seconds. Then there was a message on the screen with an error code 0xa0000001 or something like that.
I looked it up and it was the graphics card, one of the solutions I found was to update the drivers.
I have Gigabyte R9 290, so I went to the AMD website, found the correct drivers, downloaded them and clicked install. As soon as the installation was finished my screens turned black with the message: "Attention. Attention. Check cable connection."
I asked for help on Facebook and someone said to start it up in Safe Mode. I looked it up on how to do that and eventually that worked as well.
However I have no clue on what to do next...
My specs:
Windows 8.1 64bit
Intel Core i7-4770K
GigaByte Radeon R9 290
GigaByte GA-Z87-HD3
HDD 2x 2TB
SSD 250GB
D316GB 1866-10 ram
Any help would be much appreciated, as I use my computer to make a living 😛
