So i have a question.

I got the card one year ago and it still works fine except for the rgb that is not working correctly. It does not show up in GCC control center anymore and neither in other rgb software that i have tried. I have tried updating the firmware to version f1.0 that downloads and then does nothing and just keeps saying that i can update but it doesn't work for some reason. I have tried reinstalling GCC but it does not help and I have tried clearing cmos too. It stays pale blue on startup but changes to bright white when playing a game.

Does anyone have a clue what can be done besides repairing the card?

I dont want to rma it because of the time it takes to repair it🙁and reinstalling windows is such a hassle just for the rgb to maybe work.

Thankful for any input!

Looks like the controller for the RGB on the card has conked out.

Are you trying to run the executable in an elevated command?

You might want to take advantage of the warranty on your card...even these minutes you're spending reading this message is technically eating away at your warranty period and hopes of receiving your card from RMA faster. Why would you need to reinstall the OS if you send the card in for an RMA?

To also add, if you send the card for repair to a local shop, you void your warranty.

I'd opt for an RMA.

Oh and the question, the firmware update is through the GCC software itself.Im going to try and find the firmware some other way,but what is an elevated command?
