Hey guys,

The water cooler that i have is connected to the motherboard through a USB2 connector which is why I cannot control the pump and fan speed through bios but rather have to rely on the poopie aorus engine software. Problem is that it does not register the rpms properly. If i put the fan on quiet mode, it runs at 2,900 rpm and when i put it on balanced mode, the pump runs at 2,300 rpm and the manual control does not work. Long story short, the app is extremely buggy and very bad. I want to know if there is a converter that allows me to directly plug the USB2 connector coming from the cooler, into a separate CPU fan and pump plug that i can directly connect to the motherboard and have more control via bios.

Have you upgraded the firmware on that cooler? There is a firmware update available that is supposed to fix the fan and pump table.

Not aware of any adapters that would allow you to use a standard PWM connection for the pump and fans. The fans however, if they are simply 4 pin PWM connectors, could just be directly connected to the motherboard CPU_FAN header. Manual does not state what type of connections other than RGB are coming from those fans to the other cable.

The pump, it's possible there's an adapter out there to go from micro USB to another usable connection type such as PWM or straight SATA power so that it just runs at 100% which is what you want anyhow, you don't want to run the pump at lower or variable speeds, but if so I haven't seen or heard of one previously.

I've had issues when the fan would just run at max regarless of the setting.
The way i fixed it is I would uninstall GBT_Cooler xx.xx.xx.x Windows settings>Apps>Installed Apps. Then in the gigabyte software check for updates and reinstall GBT_Cooler xx.xx.xx.x.

I hope it works for you

Edit:
Also uninstall and reinstall AORUS AIO Panel Setting
