My gpu as I stated in the title, requires 6 and 8 pins. My psu which is Cooler Master rs-500-pcar-n1 only has 6 pin. So, I am planning to use adapter which is 2 molex to 8 pin connector. Before I use it, is it safe to use this adapter?

It will work but I would not recommend it and just buy a better PSU..

Generally speaking if you need to use adaptors, such as the molex to 8 pin ones, you need to get a better PSU-it was not designed with these loads in mind.

Well if your psu gets stressed too hard it can die in a variety of ways-it could be a quiet death, where simply it would just stop working or it could go out in style and take the rest of your system with it leaving you with an expensive bill to replace everything.
