Question Gigabyte X470 Motherboard Resetting TRC Timing

Hello all,

Just a quick question if anyone can help. I have a Gigabyte X470 Gaming motherboard with 2700 X and 32 GB of Crucial Ballistix Elite 3200; I can't get the ram stable at 3200mhz no matter what I try, but it's fine at some decent timings on 2933mhz of 14-16-16-32, however when I try changing the trc setting from Auto (69) to anything lower then save and exit it just changes it back to 69 after rebooting. I'm no expert at OCing, but from what I've read the trc ought to go a bit lower than 69 with those other settings, so am I missing something?

Which BIOS version are you currently on for your motherboard in question? Which slots are you populating on the motherboard with said ram kit? This might be a good read.

Bios is F31, ram slots 2 &4.
