[SOLVED] Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE - 2nd GPU slot a problem?

Can I put my huge gtx 1080 into the second GPU slot (I use it as a rendering GPU in the background, my main gpu is RX 2080ti)



There is a mobo cooler at the same height as the PCIe slot... not sure if my GPU will fit there? (this GPU can generate a lot of heat)

That is just a picture of the card...

The motherboard meets the ATX spec and so does the graphics card, they should fit together. Whether that is a good idea is another matter entirely. Going to be rather cramped in there.
