This is for an 3700X, 32GB RAM, (2) NVMe SSDs.

I don't need WiFi; I'll be hard wired, and don't care about RGB.
Oh, and if it matters, the case is a FD Define R6 and PSU is Seasonic Focus+ 650W Gold.

From what I have read each board has its strengths and weaknesses; I am just not sure where my needs fit.

Thanks

I would go with the Gigabyte due to the Intel LAN since you don't need Wi-Fi. Both can handle your components. The only advantage the Asus would have is a USB C port if that's important to you.

I have not been impressed with Asus's bios updates on the older chipsets, since Ryzen 3000 launch, so I am leery of using even their x570, right now. They have released bios updates, that have made systems nearly unusable. Hopefully they get things resolved soon. Having done two gigabyte builds, now, I would say Gigabyte.
