Hello everyone,
recently I havve built by first PC with R9 7900X3D on motherboard X670E Master Aorus. However I have led error code 8F which stays on always, while gaming etc, anything but that system seems to be ok.

Can you please help how to get rid of this error message on motherboard?

Specs: RAM 2x16GB DDR5 Corsair Dominator 6000MHz- currently 4800- seated A2, B2
PSU: ROG Loki 850W Platinum
GPU: Radeon Sapphire 7900XT 20G

Any help would be very appreciated.

It could be they need to release a bios update to fix it - you not alone as others with same MB have same code and it works fine for them too- https://community.amd.com/t5/driver...0e-aorus-master-and-ryzen-7950x3d/td-p/601944

unless there is a new BIOS now, there isn't anything you can do. On other AMI boards that code is reserved still. I think a BIOS update is needed to make it show right thing.

could be an update won't change it - link

80-8F - Reserved for OEM use (OEM DXE initialization codes).
as per your manual.
dxe = driver execution environment - https://www.globalspec.com/referenc...dxe-basics-foundation-dispatching-and-drivers - you probably don't need this.

Asus X670 boards also seem to be having problems with this... so it could be on AMD

Thanks for the help, I was searching for an answer but couldnt find anything meaningful.
As per BIOS I have their newest version F13c released recetly August 16th.
I guess there isn’t anything here to do beside ignoring it for now and wait for a fix in future update as you say or just get a different motherboard.

Hopefully this will get fixed soon seeing I am not along having the issue.
Thanks again for shedding some light on this.
