GIGABYTE X79-UP4 , Intel Xeon E5-2620 v2

Hello,
i have an old pc that i bought in 2014 with gigabyte x79-up4 , Thermaltake Power-supply 1200W , CPU Intel Xeon E5-2620 V2 , and VGA 780Ti , today i have replaced the old GTX780ti with GTX1080 Aero OC , may this replacement cause any damage for my CPU or M-Borad ?

I usually use the GPU for 3D Rendering in Cinema 4D Soft ware .
