I've downloaded all of the drivers that came with the disks, and it's not picking up any wireless networks, however bluetooth 4.0 is working just fine. It's installed on Windows 7 64. I've tried to manually connect to the network to no avail.

I know my wireless is working because I'm on my laptop's wifi as I'm typing this. When I run Intel proset diagnostics it fails at 'Scan Test', saying there are no networks available to connect. No yellow exclamations in Device Manager, and all the drivers are up to date.

Any ideas on what to do? Thanks.

Hmm... Can you check the BIOS/EFI to see if there is setting that might need to be turned on to enable the WIFI? Is there any physical switches to enable this?

Also, are the drivers up-to-date because you used the disks? Can you check the website and see if they have anything newer available just in case?

I take it back, bluetooth is apparently not working. Looking @ 'Network and Internet'>'Network Connections', it has everything set as 'not connected' even though it is identified in the device manager. Wonder why that would be. Checked the BIOS and nothing in there, that I can see, that would enable Wifi, and I don't see a button or switch that would do this either.

I had already transferred over all of the Gigabyte MB wifi DLs onto a flash drive and installed them that way, which didn't solve the issue. Why would it say 'not connected' in the Connections area?

Well, the most obvious answer would be that that portion of the board is not working. I am wondering, is there any restriction for using the WiFi/Bluetooth if not using Windows 8? I couldn't find anything, but maybe it says something in the manual...

You could also try uninstalling the drivers for WiFi or Bluetooth and see if any of the Windows 7 drivers install in its place. Maybe that will help. You could try installing different drivers for the same manufacturer, if you can find any on the web.

If you don't want to waste anymore time on the matter, give Gigabyte a call and explain the situation. Have them walk you through any steps they need you to so that they can see if it is the board. Very likely they'll just make you go over things you already did. Hopefully they throw something out there new, but if they don't, they may ask you to RMA the board.
