I have a gigabyte z170-hd3 motherboard and im looking to upgrade to the HyperX Predator DDR4 RGB 16GB kit(3200MHz). Does my motherboard support this ram or should i get a different brand of ram? I looked at the gigabyte website and saw my motherboard supports 3200MHz but when i went to the qualified vendor list in memory support,it didnt show the Ram listed above. What should i do?

QVL's are meant to say that they had the rams in their labs and tested it out on the board in question. In practice, you can drop in just about any ram, so long as it conforms to the slot and does not exceed JEDEC spec's for voltages. Mind sharing the link to that ram kit? I wouldn't advise on mixing and matching sticks of ram also what processor do you have?

Please don't create multiple threads on the same matter.

Unless one of us has that exact setup, we wouldn't know any more than what Gigabyte publishes on their site. Honestly, I've never run into compatibility issues with ram before, regardless of it being listed on their site or not. But if you want to be 100% certain, you can try emailing Gigabyte support.
