Gigabyte Z170X-UD3 ULTRA and i7-7700k

So I recently upgraded myself from a FX 8320 w/ MSI 990FXA board. To a Gigabyte Z170X-UD3 ULTRA with a i7-7700k. Upgraded my ram to DDR4 Corsair 3000hz, BUT kept my 600w OCZ PSU from my old build. And NOTHING turns on at all. Been told it's definitely a PSU issue but just wanted to make sure. And the board is a Z170 chipset which silly me but my rig should still be able to power up right? :[

What about BIOS, do you have newest one ? According to: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-Z170X-UD3-Ultra-rev-10#support-cpu it needs BIOS vF20 to be compatible.

I was aware of needing the bios update(which I still need but thing won't turn on), but would that really have an effect of my system NOT being able to even power on?
