Gigabyte Z370 D3 Orange Light

So I've recently purchased the Gigabyte Z370 D3 motherboard. I like everything but the orange light that is on the left side of the motherboard as it conflict with my all white build. Is there a way to disable it? I heard that it is part of the sound card but if I disable the light will the sound card still function?
