Gigabyte z370 Motherboard

Hi,

I have an issue I have the z370 Auros gaming 7 motherboard. I have windows 10 latest version (1809). But I have an issue with my realtek onboard soundI updated to the latest realtek drivers Realtek High Definition Audio (HDA) R2.8x (8619) WHQL and now when I go to test my 4.1 speakers which I have set to quadraphonic sound It says failed to play test tone. and when I choose quadraphonic sound it says format not supported by this device. I can't use it if I select just 2 speakers. I can use older realtek drivers with quadraphonic sound but I don't understand why I can't use the latest realtek drivers for 2019 with this particular motherboard. I even flashed to the latest bios. So any help would be great.

Search google for similar issues maybe with the term, 4.1 realtek latest drivers failed to play test tone. OrAsk realtek or Microsoft

Sorry these did not fix my issue. I guess I will downgrade to lower drivers.
