Gigabyte Z370P D3 with Cooler Master Litebox 5 RGB

The cooler master litebox 5 rgb comes with a 4 pin female connector for the 3 RGB fans in front of the case, the cable is supposed to connect to a 12V/G/R/B on my motherboard, my motherboard is compatible with this but the fan splitter just doesnt seem to fit the male connector on my motherboard. Any help?

Just wondering if you actually got them to work?
I have the exact same motherboard and case and my 3 front fans work, however they dont light up.
