Question Gigabyte z390 Aorus Elite - i5 9600kf compatibility

I have decided on pairin these two up, but to my understanding the cpu requires F7 bios version and mobo supports F3 out of the box. Is there an easy and safe way to work this out?

Not without an out of the box CPU compatible with existing BIOS....

Or, just get a CPU that already works...(is the 9600K drastically more expensive than the KF variant?)

Its a siginificant price difference where i live for a feature i will probably never need again but its more reasonable to get 9600k instead of an older cpu just for an update
