[SOLVED] Gigabyte z590, 5 beeps and the VGA LED is lit ?

Hi,
I m building a new PC.
My processor is i5-11600k
The motherboard Is gigabyte z590 gaming x
When the PC starts, It beeps 5 times & the VGA LED is lit.

I have not installed a video card because the CPU should have integrated graphics. Is it mandatory to have one?

As I read the specs motherboard and CPU support integrated graphics. There should be no need for a separate, mandatory GPU.

Paragraph 20, Page 23 covers the Status LED's. Verify that you are reading the LEDs correctly.

Yes, the CPU and the motherboard are right as in the links you posted.

Currently I have no display attached, I m waiting for the adapter from dp to DVI.

The manual says that the issue Is related to the vga( the led stay on)

But, In the FAQ 816 seems to be and issue related to the processor (5 short beep)

No way to know. I expect that you will need to wait for the adapter.

Will the new PC build boot into Safe Mode?

If so then Reliability History and/or Event Viewer may have captured some relevant error codes, etc. regarding previous failures.

5 beeps is console output error on aptio V, link above is for older ami (non uefi) bioses
mine gpu produces 5beeps when tv is turned off during post, but system boots fine

Hi, finallly i received the adapter, It works, the display Connection Is mandatory for the First boot. Thx for your help

I see the motherboard messages, I Will proceed setting RAM timings etc
