[SOLVED] GIGABYTE Z690 AORUS XTREME or ASUS ROG Maximus Z690 Hero?

Hey there

I got 2 motherboards:

GIGABYTE Z690 AORUS XTREME

I have several builds with Asus motherboards and know the BIOS well. Never built with Gigabyte.

I was looking for the DDR 5 memory and won Aorus and DDR5 memory combo shuffle. I would never buy $900 motherboard. Aorus is EATX with all connectors on the right (not sure what that means). I hope that they tested their memory with their board and combo will work better. Also I can't return Aorus because it is combo and I need that memory. I still can return Asus Hero. Any experience with Gigabyte gear? I will be using it with
Core i9-12900K

I’m sure you should get the Maximus HERO but when you get it make sure the capacitor on the top right corner is installed correctly because there have been causes of burning because it’s backward so please make sure about that fact. Check this guy out
