Gigabyte Z87 UD4H non-boot

Board failed to boot to the bios. At first it went into a reboot every 15 seconds. Took out the GPU, removed one bank of memory. Restarted the computer and it stayed on. Got LED A6. Nothing shows on the monitor when it boots.

Gigabyte told me to take the board out of the case and test it. Said something about it grounding on the case. Is this BS or a real problem?

Did you mount it with the Case's spacers or directly to the case?

Thanks for the reply. The board is mounted on the standoffs that came with the case.

I'm having the same problem. I tried booting with my Windows 7 CD in an optical drive and I was able to boot into Windows. I heard the Windows theme but saw nothing on my screen. I then switched from my video card output to the on-board GPU. HAH! My Windows wallpaper appeared! I then reflashed the BIOS...but I still cannot get into the POST or BIOS screens. And now my system date is set at 01/01/2013.
